The McCormick Ranch that we know and love today was mostly developed in the 70s and 80s.  However, the history goes further back than that.

The Ranch and much of the surrounding area was once part of a 4200 working ranch owned by Anne and Folwer McCormick.  On it was an adobe ranch-style home.

They purchased it in 1943
